Beirut: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has announced the commencement of road marking and Cat Eyes installation on the Sayyad-Chtoura Highway, a key stretch extending from ‘Hawa Chicken’ towards Chtoura. The project is set to be carried out continuously until its completion.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the initiative is part of the ministry’s broader national plan aimed at improving road safety standards. This includes upgrading traffic signage and equipment on major routes and intersections to enhance overall traffic flow and safety.
The ministry assured that traffic will remain organized during the project’s execution, with only one lane in use to prevent full road closures. Motorists are encouraged to cooperate with Internal Security Forces and heed the warning signs and directional guidance placed along the route to ensure public safety and facilitate the timely completion of the works.
