Beirut: Information Minister, Paul Morcos, alongside UNESCO, has extended an invitation to media representatives for a press conference dedicated to unveiling the national anti-disinformation campaign titled "Be Part of the Truth. Not the Disinformation." This initiative is set to combat the growing menace of misinformation.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the campaign receives financial backing from UNIFIL and is designed to bolster awareness about misinformation. It seeks to enhance media literacy among the populace and encourage the responsible sharing of information. The press conference, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, will be held on the sixth floor of the Ministry of Information. It aims to shed light on the campaign's primary objectives, anticipated outcomes, and its integral role in countering misleading information in the media landscape.
