MP Dr. Abdel Rahman Bizri, on Friday welcomed at his residence, Australian Ambassador to Lebanon, Andrew Barnes, with whom he discussed the Lebanese-Australian relations and ways to enhance them.
Discussions also touched on the conditions of the Lebanese community in Australia, pointing to the role of expatriates in supporting Lebanon and its economy, and the role played by Australia in terms of partnership with a number of international institutions and local organizations in providing social and technical assistance to the Lebanese and the displaced Syrians in Lebanon.
