Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Thursday received MP Fouad Makhzoumi at Baabda Palace. Following their meeting, MP Makhzoumi expressed his support for President Aoun's dedication to the framework agreement, recognizing it as the practical approach towards reclaiming sovereignty, facilitating the Israeli withdrawal, and ensuring that all weapons are controlled by the state and the Lebanese Army.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, MP Makhzoumi highlighted President Aoun's unwavering commitment to the principles of the state and its institutions, describing it as a responsible stance. He further emphasized the importance of not delaying economic and financial reforms, indicating that progress in these areas is crucial.

The lawmaker also noted the critical connection between state-building and economic revitalization, stressing that both must advance simultaneously for the nation to achieve stability and growth.
