Baabda: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday received MP Nabil Badr at Baabda Palace for talks on current national developments. Following the meeting, Badr said discussions focused on the exceptional circumstances facing Lebanon, ongoing efforts to halt the Israeli aggression and initiatives aimed at reinforcing stability.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Badr noted that Aoun remains committed to pursuing efforts to end the war and consolidate stability in a manner that strengthens state institutions and safeguards Lebanese interests. The meeting also addressed the proposed general amnesty law and ways to advance its adoption through what Badr described as a fair and balanced approach that respects both legal considerations and humanitarian concerns.
