Beirut: MP Qassem Hashem on Monday stated that Lebanon's priority is no longer deterrence but defending itself "at a minimum level" against ongoing Israeli attacks. He emphasized the urgent need to halt the aggression and limit both human and material losses.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hashem highlighted during an interview with Sawt Kol Lebanon that Lebanon's main source of strength lies in internal unity. He noted that negotiations have thus far failed to secure a ceasefire and have not produced any tangible results on the ground.
