MP Reveals: The Ministry of Oil About To Sign A Contract With A Foreign Company To Invest Gas in Basra

A member of the Parliamentary Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee, Ali Shaddad, revealed that a contract with the French company Total will soon be signed to invest gas in a group of oil fields in Basra Governorate.

Shaddad said in a statement that, two weeks from now, the Ministry of Oil will sign a contract with the French company Total to invest (600) cubic meters of associated gas in five oil fields in Basra Governorate.
