Beirut: Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, on Tuesday received MP Ahmad Al-Khair at Dar Al-Fatwa. The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Fayez Seif, a member of the Supreme Islamic Sharia Council. The agenda focused on national and Islamic affairs, and the prevailing conditions in the North Lebanon area.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Mufti Derian also met with the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zakat Fund in Lebanon, Consul Mohammed Al-Jawzo, as well as the Fund’s Director General, Sheikh Zuhair Kibbi, and businessman Rabih Sheikh. These discussions revolved around charitable initiatives, social issues, and livelihood concerns.
