GEAGEA: GULF RECONCILIATION A GAIN FOR ARAB COUNTRIES AND LEBANON

Head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, commented, Wednesday, on the Gulf reconciliation in a statement, saying that “the Gulf reconciliation that took place at the Al-Ula Summit is a gain for the GCC and for all Arab countries, especially for Lebanon, which in its ordeal was resorting to the Gulf states that always came to its aid.”

Geagea deemed that Lebanon is suffering today from the brunt of the major crisis because the Gulf states are far from it, due to some well-known internal Lebanese alignments.

He pointed out that if the current authority in Lebanon was serious about getting people out of their current ordeal, it would have rushed to rearrange the Lebanese-Gulf relations.
