The Higher Judicial Council commented, in a statement this Friday, on the words of caretaker Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Mohamed Fahmy, uttered during a televised interview yesterday, stressing that “what was said against the judiciary and judges is unacceptable, absolutely impermissible and incorrect, especially coming from those who are supposed to be working on building the state and its institutions, knowing that the judiciary carries out a large part of the tasks entrusted to it amid dreadful circumstances, and is waiting for support from all departments and institutions.”
