Minister of Industry, Dr. Imad Hoballah, on Wednesday said at the beginning of his scheduled tour to a number of pharmaceutical factories that the Lebanese should take pride in their local pharmaceutical production.
Kicking off his tour by visiting “Pharma Line” factory in Nahr Ibrahim, the Minister said that the perseverance of men and women in the pharmaceutical sector would help Lebanon overcome its economic perils by shifting from a rentier economy to a productive one.
“We are proud of the Lebanese pharmaceutical industry, and we will pave the way for factories to produce and export to the Arab and entire world. We will provide them with safety to protect their investments,” the Minister pledged.
“We are proud to prepare the economic paper, and we await the support of the International Monetary Fund,” he added.
