Former Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Wednesday received UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamad al-Shamsi, who came on a farewell visit upon the end of his diplomatic mission in Beirut.

During the meeting, Mikati extolled the role played by Ambassador al-Shamsi in the consolidation of the bilateral ties between the two countries, and thanked the Emirates for its constant support and care for the Lebanese.
