SATTERFIELD, RICHARD VISIT HARIRI’S TOMB: AN UNFORGETTABLE PERSON

US Assistant Secretary of State, David Satterfield, visited the tomb of martyred Prime Minister Rafic Hariri in Beirut, accompanied by US Ambassador to Lebanon Elizabeth Richard, in the presence of Culture Minister, Ghattas Khoury. He laid a wreth of flowers that read: “With respect from the United States of America to a great friend who loved his homeland Lebanon.”

Satterfield, on the other hand, wrote a few words in the record of honor in which he expressed “the deep respect of the United States for the martyred premier whose life and death were in the service of Lebanon,” adding that he was “an unforgettable person.”
