STRONG REPUBLIC BLOC SUBMITS FOUR LAW PROPOSALS

The “Strong Republic” bloc announced, in a statement today, that MPs George Adwan, George Okais, Fadi Saad, Majed Abillamah, Ziad Al-Hawat, Antoine Habashi and Joseph Ishaq have submitted four draft laws to the House of Representatives under numbers 794, 795, 796 and 797/2020.

 

The first law aims to establish the Supreme Commission for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management.

 

The second law proposal relates to a mediation agreement

 

The third and fourth law proposals aim to amend Articles 27 and 87 of the General Budget Law No. 144/2020 to compensate workers in the private sector who voluntarily leave their work with an incentive from the employer, on one hand, and for the state’s contribution to the premiums of students enrolled in free and semi-free private schools, on the other hand.
