State Minister for Anti-Corruption Affairs, Nicolas Tueni, kicked off his visit in Poland Tuesday by meeting with Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA), Ernest Bejda, at the CBA’s headquarters in Poland.
During the meeting, Bedja maintained to Tueni that “corruption is an epidemic that must be eradicated,” highlighting the importance of strong determination, political will, and popular support in that respect.
For his part, Tueni broached cooperation between Lebanon and Poland in the field of fighting corruption.
“Lebanon counts on the cooperation with Poland, through the exchange of expertise and enhancement of ties among the anti-corruption apparatuses in the coming stage,” he said.
