Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Charbel Wehbe, said in a video speech at the Damascus International Conference on the return of displaced Syrians, that he hoped “the conference would contribute to finding a solution to the refugee crisis.”

Wehbe called for “intensifying international efforts to ensure the safe repatriation of displaced Syrians,” stressing the need “not to link this return to a political solution.”
