Caretaker Foreign Minister Charbel Wehbe, on Tuesday received UK Chargé d’Affairs in Lebanon, Martin Longden, who came on a protocol visit after assuming his diplomatic duties in the country.

Discussions between the pair reportedly touched on what has been achieved by Lebanon and the United Kingdom regarding the trade agreement between the two countries, which was implemented at the beginning of this year as a result of Britain’s exit from the European Union.

On the other hand, Minister Wehbe met with the head of the European Union Mission to Lebanon, Ambassador Ralph Tarraf, with discussions touching on the renewal of the partnership agreement for the coming years between the European Union and Lebanon.
