Beirut: The Syrian Ministry of Information has refuted reports claiming that the Syrian Arab Army and Turkish Intelligence thwarted an assassination attempt on President Ahmed al-Sharaa during his visit to Daraa.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, “SANA” news agency relayed a statement from the Syrian Ministry of Information, asserting that there is no truth to the reports circulated by several media outlets. These reports alleged a collaborative effort between the Syrian Arab Army and Turkish Intelligence to prevent an assassination attempt on President al-Sharaa.
