Tripoli: The Communications and Automation Department of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) held a preparatory meeting yesterday with the directors of the communications and automation departments in the sector companies and the directors of the technical departments in the corporation. According to the NOC, the meeting reviewed the mechanisms for implementing the project to feed the main decision-making center and the sub-centers for control and supervision with data and information and also discussed the need to activate artificial intelligence technology during the implementation of the project stages. The meeting was attended by the directors of the departments in the corporation and the technical departments in the companies (Al-Waha, Sirte, Arabian Gulf, Akakus, and Mellitah) and representatives of Tatweer and PETGO companies. Last February, the NOC issued instructions to start implementing command centers that are connected instantly to the main decision-making center in the corporation, which is su pervised by the Communications and Automation Department.
