North Governor Meets Turkish Ambassador as Turkey Pledges 100 Prefabricated Homes for Tripoli

Tripoli: Acting North Governor, Iman Al-Rafai, on Wednesday met Turkish Ambassador Murat Lutem in Tripoli to discuss urgent needs following the recent building collapse.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Al-Rafai outlined challenges facing the crisis cell, including damaged structures, displaced families, and limited logistical capacity. She called for prefabricated housing, equipment and training for civil defense and firefighting units, and support for the Lebanese Red Cross.

Ambassador Lutem announced Turkey's readiness to provide 100 prefabricated homes once land and infrastructure are secured, along with training programs and essential equipment. The Turkish diplomat reaffirmed Turkey's continued humanitarian support for Lebanon during difficult circumstances.
