Oil Prices in Lebanon Drop Significantly

Beirut: The prices of 95-octane and 98-octane gasoline and diesel in Lebanon experienced a reduction of LBP 1,000 on Tuesday. Additionally, the price of a gas canister saw a significant decrease of LBP 40,000.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the adjustments have led to the new pricing structure: 95-octane gasoline is now priced at LBP 1,338,000, while 98-octane gasoline stands at LBP 1,378,000. Diesel prices have been adjusted to LBP 1,210,000, and gas canisters are now available at LBP 979,000.

This change in fuel prices comes as part of the regular updates in the Lebanese energy market, reflecting fluctuations in global oil prices and local economic conditions. The reduction is expected to provide some relief to consumers and businesses dealing with the high cost of living and operating expenses.
