Beirut: Oil prices in Lebanon rose on Tuesday with gasoline (95 and 98 octane) increasing by LBP 17,000 and diesel by LBP 58,000, while gas cylinder prices dropped by LBP 14,000.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the new prices are as follows: 95 octane gasoline now costs LBP 2,381,000, and 98 octane gasoline is priced at LBP 2,422,000. Diesel has also seen an increase, with the new price set at LBP 2,353,000. In contrast, gas cylinder prices have decreased and are currently at LBP 1,854,000.
These changes in fuel prices reflect ongoing adjustments in the energy market, impacting consumers and businesses across the region. The increase in oil prices could have a significant effect on transportation and operational costs, while the drop in gas cylinder prices may provide some relief for households relying on gas for domestic use.
