Qlayaa: A house in the southern Lebanese town of Qlayaa was hit by two successive rounds of artillery shelling fired from an enemy Merkava tank, resulting in the injury of the homeowner Clovis Boutros and his wife. Both were transported to the Marjayoun Governmental Hospital by the Lebanese Red Cross and Civil Defense teams.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during the second strike, the town's Parish Priest Father Pierre al-Rahi, was injured, along with Elias Boulos, Paul Fares, and Lillian El-Sayed. The Red Cross teams transported the injured to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment, while the strike caused damage to the targeted house and its vicinity.
Father al-Rahi later succumbed to his wounds.
