Diman: Patriarch Rahi expressed gratitude for the positive indications from President Joseph Aoun's recent visit to Washington as he presided over a Mass in Diman, celebrating the beatification of Patriarch Elias Hoayek. During the service, Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi prayed for the newly beatified patriarch's intercession to help secure Lebanon's stability, reconstruction, and prosperity.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Patriarch Al-Rahi also underscored the importance of implementing the Lebanon-Israel framework agreement. He emphasized that the agreement should ensure Lebanon's sovereignty over its entire territory, achieving full independence and liberation, as well as establishing a lasting, just, and comprehensive peace.

Patriarch Al-Rahi described Patriarch Elias Hoayek as a significant figure in the history of both the Church and the nation. He remarked that sainthood is not an honor given by the world but a divine gift to those who faithfully live the Gospel until the end.
