Beirut: Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, convened a series of important meetings this afternoon at the Grand Serail, engaging with key figures to address pressing economic, financial, and diplomatic issues. Among those present were Finance Minister Yassine Jaber, Economy and Trade Minister Dr. Amer Bsat, and Lebanon’s Central Bank Governor Karim Souaid. The discussions were centered on the nation’s economic and financial situation.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Prime Minister Salam also met with the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert. Their dialogue reportedly focused on the latest developments affecting both local and international arenas, underscoring Lebanon’s strategic positioning amid global changes.
In a separate meeting, Salam welcomed Tunisian Ambassador to Lebanon, Bouraoui Limam, who was on a farewell visit marking the end of his diplomatic mission in the country. Their talks highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Lebanon and Tunisia. Prime Minister Salam extended his best wishes to Ambassador Limam for success in his future endeavors.
