Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam, on Tuesday, received at the Grand Serail, the newly appointed Kuwaiti Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammed Sultan Al-Sharji, who came on a protocol visit upon assuming his diplomatic duties in the country.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting between Prime Minister Salam and Ambassador Al-Sharji marks the beginning of the ambassador's tenure in Lebanon. The visit was part of the formalities undertaken by newly appointed diplomats to present themselves to key officials in the host country.
