PM Nawaf Salam Prepares for Pivotal Cairo Visit with Egyptian Ambassador

Beirut: Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, met with Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa, at the Grand Serail to discuss arrangements for his forthcoming visit to Cairo. This visit, scheduled for the first week of July, is set to include a meeting of the joint high committee between Lebanon and Egypt. Both countries aim for this committee to be more impactful than previous ones, with plans to sign agreements and memoranda that address the needs of both nations.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Ambassador Moussa emphasized the significance of this visit, noting that the documents, projects, and agreements to be signed are currently under review. Prime Minister Salam has expressed keen interest in this visit and has delegated officials to ensure its successful preparation.

Additionally, Ambassador Moussa extended an invitation to Prime Minister Salam to attend the opening of the Grand Museum in Cairo, also slated for early July. The ambassador expressed hope that Salam’s visit would enhance bilateral cooperation between Lebanon and Egypt, fostering stronger ties between the two countries.
