Beirut: During the Divine Liturgy on Beirut’s waterfront, Pope Leo XIV called on the Christians of Lebanon to “place their future in God’s hands.”

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, he stressed that “the Middle East needs new approaches to overcome divisions and to open new pages in the name of peace.” He also appealed to “the international community to support Lebanon, listen to the voice of the people calling for peace.”
