Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, and Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, emphasized the strength of Lebanese-Iraqi relations during a phone call held Thursday afternoon. They noted that the relationship has remained solid and deeply-rooted over the years, grounded in mutual respect for the sovereignty of both nations.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, both leaders expressed a mutual desire to further strengthen and develop their ties across all areas. They agreed to focus on enhancing cooperation while avoiding anything that might undermine the depth of the relationship.
