Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, condemned the Israeli raid that targeted Beirut’s southern suburbs at dawn today.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, President Aoun emphasized that this attack on the outskirts of Beirut, marking the second such incident since the November 26 agreement, serves as a serious warning of premeditated intentions against Lebanon. He underscored the importance of internal unity around national goals, as outlined in his inaugural speech and the government’s statement.
Aoun affirmed the commitment to work and collaborate with the government and its prime minister to seize the exceptional opportunity to save Lebanon from further aggression and instability.
