Rajji: President Aoun’s visit “a gesture of appreciation and loyalty to Kuwait” : Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Rajji, confirmed in an interview with the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that President Joseph Aoun’s visit to Kuwait “comes as a gesture of appreciation and loyalty to Kuwait, the state and people, for continuously supporting Lebanon.”

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Rajji emphasized Kuwait’s vital role in Lebanon’s recovery, identifying the nation as a key partner in ongoing efforts. He stated that “Kuwait has always been a pioneer in supporting Lebanon and is a key partner in its recovery.”

Rajji expressed his hope that President Aoun’s visit would help restore Kuwait’s traditional momentum and aid Lebanon’s development, in light of the economic and political reforms initiated by Lebanon’s leadership. He added that the visit aims to contribute to Lebanon’s progress through these reforms implemented by the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, and the cabinet ministers.

The Foreign Minister also called for increased bilateral cooperation between Lebanon and Kuwait, particularly in trade and tourism. He acknowledged Kuwait’s support of the Lebanese expatriate community, noting that its members regard Kuwait as a second home.
