Baabda: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday received at Baabda palace Minister of Displaced Persons and Minister of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence, Kamal Shehadeh. Minister Shehadeh briefed President Aoun on the Ministry of State for Technology’s plan and the projects it is currently working on independently or those in cooperation with other ministries.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, President Aoun emphasized the urgency of establishing the Ministry of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence to enable it to perform its responsibilities effectively and implement its anticipated projects. He highlighted the importance of aligning these projects with the best international standards and identified key priorities that the ministry should focus on moving forward.
