New york: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, held a meeting on Monday in New York with a group of Lebanese business leaders. Discussions reportedly addressed an array of key national issues, including IMF negotiations, the situation in south Lebanon, infrastructure and energy projects, digital transformation, internet access, and the expatriate voting mechanism for the upcoming elections.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting also touched on regional developments, the role of the Lebanese Army in protecting national stability, and the reconstruction dossier. President Aoun presented the current situation and challenges facing Lebanon, while participants proposed concrete ideas and expressed their willingness to leverage their expertise and international relations to support Lebanon and defend its interests at various levels.
