Bikfaya: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, received an invitation from his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron to co-chair the international conference in support of the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Internal Security Forces, scheduled to be held in Paris on March 5.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, French President Macron stated in the invitation that President Aoun's personal participation sends a strong political signal, reflecting the solid ties between France and Lebanon and both parties' commitment to Lebanon's stability and the full restoration of its sovereignty.

Macron also emphasized that the purpose of the conference is to reaffirm the political, financial, and technical support provided by the international community to the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Internal Security Forces, and to mobilize coordinated international support in line with the priorities set for these institutions.
