Beirut:Prime Minister Nawaf Salam will convene an emergency meeting tomorrow, Monday, at 500 PM at the Grand Serail. The meeting will address recent cases of food poisoning and suspected instances of food adulteration.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, relevant ministers, the head of the Lebanese Food Safety Authority, and the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation will be attending the meeting.

The meeting is intended to follow up on measures undertaken and strengthen preventive and regulatory protocols, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and the protection of public health.
