Public Works Minister Tours Beirut Airport: Continued Operations Key to Lebanon’s Resilience, Global Connectivity

Beirut: Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rassamni inspected today operations at Rafik Hariri International Airport - Beirut. He was accompanied by Civil Aviation Authority Director General, Capt. Mohammed Aziz, Beirut Airport's Executive Director, Dr. Jalal Haidar, Head of Airport Security, Brigadier General Fadi Kfoury, and Meas Executive Mohammed Shatila, on a tour that included various departments and operational sections.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, activity appeared normal and vibrant at Beirut's airport, sending a clear message that this strategic facility continues to function despite regional challenges. In this context, Minister Rassamni commended the airport staff for their commitment and professionalism, emphasizing that the airport's continued operation is vital for the country's resilience and its connection to the world.

In turn, Capt. Aziz confirmed that air traffic is proceeding normally, crediting ongoing coordination among relevant authorities.

Dr. Haidar also highlighted the strong teamwork among staff and hailed their collective effort and high sense of responsibility. He also praised Minister Rassamni's daily follow-up and continued support.
