Beirut: Information Minister Paul Morcos emphasized that “Qatar remains a beacon of dialogue in a time of division, a pillar of hope in a time of storms, and a center for shaping a bright Arab future.”
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Morcos is currently on an official visit to Doha. In a written piece for the Qatari newspaper “Al-Watan,” he expressed that “Qatar is not only a project for a successful state, but also a project for continuous development in people, politics, economy, prosperity, reconstruction, and, most importantly, peace.”
He highlighted Qatar as “a meeting point and a safe haven for dialogue,” attributing its strength not only to its infrastructure but also to its soft diplomacy, which operates quietly yet effectively, devising solutions and launching initiatives.
Morcos acknowledged the “indelible mark of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in Lebanon and the unforgettable stances of Sheikh Tamim.”
During his visit to Doha, Morcos conveyed his “great appreciation for this generous land and gratitude for its wise leadership and its authentic people.”
He concluded by stating, “Qatar and Lebanon share a bond of conscience and shared values. I am proud of the support and care Qatar provides to the Lebanese community on its soil, where they have found a second home and a land of security, dreams, and opportunities.”
