Beirut: President Joseph Aoun received a phone call from Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who extended condolences from himself and the Qatari people for the victims of ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Emir expressed Qatar's solidarity with Lebanon during these difficult times and offered assistance to help stop the military escalation, particularly by including Lebanon in the ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran.

President Aoun thanked the Emir for his consistent support for Lebanon and its people, highlighting Qatar's assistance in all fields and circumstances, especially urgent medical and relief supplies.
