QATAR WORLD CUP: TUNISIA LOSES TO AUSTRALIA (0-1)

Australia revived its hopes of qualifying for the second round of the World Cup, with a first victory over Tunisia 1-0 (first half 1-0), in the match that took place between them this afternoon at Al Janoub Stadium, in the second phase of the fourth group matches of the 22nd FIFA World Cup hosted by Qatar until December 18.

The Australian team raised its score to three points, after falling by four against France in the first stage. A draw, at least, against Denmark next Wednesday, may be enough for it to qualify.

Meanwhile, the status of the “Carthage Eagles” has become more complicated, whereby they have to beat France, champion of 2018, in the final stage match scheduled for upcoming Wednesday.

In the third and last stage of the first round, the following will play next Wednesday, November 30: Australia – Denmark, Tunisia – France.
