Qatari Aid Aircraft Delivers 31 Tons of Supplies to Damascus

DAMASCUS: A Qatari Armed Forces aircraft landed at Damascus International Airport today, delivering 31 tons of vital humanitarian aid, including food supplies and ambulances. This delivery is part of a continuing air bridge initiative by the State of Qatar, aimed at providing essential support to the Syrian people amid ongoing humanitarian challenges.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, this marks the second Qatari aircraft to arrive at Damascus International Airport and the seventh flight in the Qatari air bridge effort. The air bridge underscores Qatar’s commitment to helping Syria address its pressing humanitarian needs. The aid, facilitated by the Qatar Fund for Development, is intended to alleviate food shortages and enhance medical response capabilities in the region.
