Beirut:Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raggi, was handed an official invitation to attend the Abu Dhabi Water Conference by UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, Fahad Al Kaabi. The conference, titled "Every Future Springs from Water," is scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi from December 8 to 10.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the invitation was extended on behalf of UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. During their meeting, Raggi and Al Kaabi discussed the current situation in Lebanon and the broader regional context amidst recent developments.

In addition to meeting with the UAE Ambassador, Minister Raggi also welcomed the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative in Lebanon, Alessandro Mrakic. Mrakic presented his credentials to the minister, who expressed his hopes for successful collaboration. Raggi emphasized the importance of ongoing cooperation between Lebanon and the international body to help navigate the country's ongoing challenges.
