Bkerke: Maronite Patriarch, Mar Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, held a meeting on Tuesday with a delegation from the Change Movement's political council. The delegation, led by lawyer Elie Mahfoud, visited Bkerke to submit a judicial complaint addressing insults directed at the patriarch.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Mahfoud expressed concerns about a deliberate weakening of Lebanon's state institutions. He attributed this situation to Hezbollah, accusing them of imposing an external logic on the state. Mahfoud emphasized that the legal action taken is the beginning of a process of accountability and urged the authorities to assert their full powers.

Mahfoud called for national unity and respect for state institutions, warning of the dangers of continued weakening of the state. He emphasized the importance of coexistence among all Lebanese communities as a foundation for the country's stability.
