Rome’s Fiumicino Airport Achieves a Historic Record of 50 Million Passengers in One Year

Rome: Rome's main airport, Fiumicino, has reached a record 50 million passengers in 2025. This milestone was achieved just before the Christmas holidays, with Aeroporti di Roma (Rome Airports Company), part of the Mondis Group, expecting to welcome two million passengers between December 22 and January 7, in addition to 180,000 passengers anticipated at J.P. Pastine Airport in Ciampino.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Vatican Press Office Director confirmed that "32 million people visited the Vatican for the Jubilee in 2025."
