Beirut: Saeb Salam on Thursday visited Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjarto discuss current developments and national affairs.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Salam said the visit was primarily to congratulate the minister on the occasion of the Internal Security Forces Day. He emphasized the vital role played by Lebanon's security institutions in preserving security, stability, and civil peace.

Salam underscored the necessity of continuing to strengthen security measures and enforce the law in Beirut to boost public confidence and maintain public order.

Additionally, he praised the dedication and sacrifices of the leadership, officers, and personnel of the Internal Security Forces, acknowledging their efforts despite limited resources. Salam expressed hope that forthcoming Lebanese and international support initiatives would help address the needs of the security forces. He also commended the coordinated efforts of Lebanon's military and security agencies in protecting the country and its citizens.
