Lower House Speaker, Ahmed Safadi, on Monday discussed with Hungarian Ambassador to Jordan, Attila Kali, a number of issues of common concern, particularly the joint parliamentary relations. During the meeting, Safadi stressed importance of developing bilateral relations and coordinating the two countries’ positions, especially parliamentary stances in various regional and international forums and strengthening mutual economic and trade cooperation mechanisms. Safadi also reviewed the Kingdom’s reforms and its efforts under His Majesty King Abdullah II’s leadership to achieve the region’s stability and security and advance dialogue as a way to resolve various crises. For his part, the Hungarian envoy lauded Jordan’s role under the King’s leadership regarding regional issues by seeking to achieve security and stability. Kali also commended Jordan’s reforms, which are receiving “wide” international praise.
