Jiyeh: Saint Joseph University (USJ) marked its 150th anniversary with a meeting of its Southern Lebanon Campus partners at the Marina Jiyeh Hotel and Resort. The event was hosted by USJ President, Prof. Salim Daccache, S.J., alongside Southern Lebanon Campus Director, Dr. Dina Saidani.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the celebration gathered key stakeholders and partners who have been integral to the university’s growth and impact in the region. The meeting served as a platform for discussing future collaborations and reinforcing the institution’s commitment to educational excellence in Southern Lebanon.

In a separate event, the Maurice Awwad Foundation honored the sixth anniversary of Maurice Awwad’s passing at the Rahbani Brothers Theater in Antelias. The program featured poetry readings from Awwad’s collections and introduced his new book, “Maurice Awwad: Po¨mes Choisis”.
