Salam Chairs Meeting at Tripoli Special Economic Zone


Tripoli: Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, on Tuesday chaired a meeting at the headquarters of Tripoli’s Special Economic Zone, with the participation of Social Affairs Minister Hanin Al-Sayed, Zone Chairman Hassan Dnawi, Tripoli Mayor Abdel Hamid Karami, and members of the Zone’s board.



According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting focused on the development strategies for the Special Economic Zone and the role it plays in enhancing economic activities in the region. The discussions also included infrastructure improvements and attracting investments to boost local economic growth.



Prime Minister Salam emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and local authorities to achieve the economic goals set for the zone. The meeting concluded with a consensus on several initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable development in Tripoli.
