Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam contacted Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, praising his efforts that led to a ceasefire and urging that Lebanon be included to prevent further Israeli attacks.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in response, Sharif condemned the recent Israeli strikes on Lebanon and affirmed that Pakistan is working to ensure peace and stability in the country.
