Salam Reassures Nabatieh Leaders of Government’s Commitment Amid Attacks

Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam reached out to key leaders in Nabatieh, including the city's Imam, Sheikh Abdel-Hussein Sadek, to express solidarity with the residents following the recent Israeli attacks. He offered his condolences to the families of the civilian victims and extended wishes for a swift recovery to those injured.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, PM Salam also spoke with the Mayor of Nabatieh, Hajj Abbas Fakhreddine, to assess the safety of the residents and understand the damage inflicted on the city. He emphasized that the government remains steadfast in its commitment to support the residents' return and resilience, ensuring that public services continue to operate and meet citizens' needs despite the attacks.

Additionally, Salam contacted Finance Minister Yassine Jaber, who informed him about the damage to the Ministry of Finance building in Nabatieh. Salam praised the Finance Minister for his prompt response and measures to maintain uninterrupted operations, protect citizens' interests, and ensure that their transactions proceed without delay.
