Beirut: Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, on Thursday met with a delegation from the National Rescue Platform, headed by Hareth Sleiman, which presented its vision and demands for the next phase.
According to National Nws Aency - Lebanon, following the meeting, Sleiman expressed full support for government decisions, particularly those related to restricting arms to state institutions and classifying Hezbollah's military wing as outside the law.
The delegation also stressed the need for state-led management of displacement, calling for civilian, non-partisan oversight of shelters.
Salam reaffirmed his commitment to restoring full state authority, describing it as a gradual process requiring sustained effort and cumulative progress.
